Our Mission

At Pussy Lovers Rescue, our mission is driven by a deep love and commitment to the well-being of feral and community cats in South Florida. We are dedicated to reducing their population through a multi-faceted approach that combines rescue, rehabilitation, and responsible management. 

Under the banner of Pussy Lovers Rescue, we embark on a journey to save the lives of cats in need. Our primary focus is on rescuing domestic cats that have been abandoned or left to fend for themselves on the unforgiving streets of South Florida. We provide them with a second chance at a loving home, offering them the care, nurturing, and medical attention they deserve. 

For the kittens born into these challenging conditions, we strive to intervene early, taking them off the streets and providing them with the necessary care and socialization to become loving and adoptable companions. 

Recognizing that not all cats can easily transition to indoor life, we also focus on humane population control. Through our trap-neuter-return (TNR) programs, we ensure that feral cats are sterilized, preventing further breeding and helping to stabilize local cat populations while improving their overall welfare. 

Pussy Lovers Rescue is fueled by our unwavering dedication to promoting the well-being of all cats in South Florida. We believe that every feline, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a chance to live a safe, healthy, and fulfilling life. 

With the unwavering support of our dedicated volunteers, donors, and community partners, Pussy Lovers Rescue aspires to create a future where the number of homeless and feral cats is reduced, and where every cat finds a forever home or is able to live their life with dignity and respect in the community.
